The sacred golden Ora-Tika statue protects Lost Island and its five Realms from VOLKANU – a molten magma monster of fire and rage –but it has been stolen from the Temple of Fire! Now VOLKANU is free to bring volcanic destruction to the island and its inhabitants. The idol is hidden in a forbidden grotto and guarded by six demonic tiki statues. Our quest is to destroy the evil tikis, secure the golden idol, make our way to the Temple of Fire and place the idol on the altar. Only then will VOLKANU be confined, and the island will once again be safe. But be aware – for VOLKANU will create fiery, nightmarish minions to halt our progress at every turn.
We queue in a winding lava cave far beneath the great volcano of Lost Island. Ancient pictograph art on the rock walls illustrates the history of the five Realms of the island – the Tamariki, the Mura, the Awa, the Yuta, and the Upara. We then enter a secluded cavern where we learn the details of our quest and encounter a Shaman who sends us onward to board our Inferno Transport vehicles. Once aboard, riders will experience a five-minute showtime full of interactive 3D imagery, breathtaking scenery, animatronic figures and immersive special effects.
