Your Visit!
Inside the castle, everyone is just “dying” to “serve you”! From the
threatening castle guard through an eerie great hall filled with
apparitions, on into
a dank dungeon where evil trolls delight in torturing their unfortunate
prisoners, and into a noisy kitchen where chefs are preparing dinner (are
you on the menu?), all seem determined that you will enjoy your stay at
Zombie Paradise…for ever!
|
When Zombie Paradise opened at the Tokyo Dome entertainment
complex, the ride garnered rave reviews from the press and
public alike. Years later, the classic attraction continues to draw
large, enthusiastic crowds.
All Aboard for Paradise!
Passing through an elaborate old train station entrance, overseen by two
hungry vultures, visitors board a strange, hearse-like vehicle headed
for a tourist destination named Zombie Paradise. Traveling through an
eerie graveyard, it becomes clear that this is not a normal vacation!
There’s the grotesquely friendly (almost headless) gravedigger, a
moaning, reaching Tree of Tortured Souls and the too-lifelike stone
statue of King Zombie: The atmosphere is filled with frightful
foreboding.
The
King is omnipresent ...making sure you are “enjoying” your
visit…directing you to the “unliving” quarters. A
hallway is filled with ghostly specters and frightening sounds, an
incredible disco features an almost-live band, the Dead Beats, and a
three-headed singer. Myriad special effects, sound effects and original
music fill this haunted twenty-four scene ride. A hair-raising finale
completes the experience: Just as you think you’re safe, the King
reappears in your path. Transforming himself into a giant bat, he flies
directly at you in a desperate attempt to prevent your escape. |
